Meet the Maker

Hi, I'm Max, the founder of Ferro Studio.

I've always been drawn to working with my hands and creating things that are built to last. My love for woodworking comes from a deep appreciation for natural materials, thoughtful design, and the satisfaction of crafting something that will be used and enjoyed for generations.

Living on the California coast continues to inspire my work. I find myself drawn to the warmth of wood, the simplicity of coastal design, and the belief that the best furniture feels both timeless and lived in.

The name Ferro comes from my Sicilian grandmother, whose strength, warmth, and love of family inspired the values behind this business. To me, a table is more than furniture—it's where people gather, celebrate milestones, and make memories.

Every piece is built by hand in my workshop with the hope that it becomes part of your family's story.

I offer a variety of standard designs and sizes which work well for most people, but I’m always happy to take on custom work. Any piece or detail you see on my website can be customized and adapted including stain colors, shelving, and designs.
